Are you a commercially minded, proactive forward thinking accountant looking to make a real difference in a business?

We are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Finance Business Partner to lead financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for specific divisions within our group.

This role is ideal for a qualified accountant or QBE professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is eager to make a tangible impact on business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and review of consolidated group management accounts, providing insightful commentary and identifying opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency.

Oversee the budgeting process for assigned divisions, offering constructive challenge and support to business partners to ensure financial targets are met.

Develop and refine financial forecasting models, delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Create and evaluate capital expenditure business cases, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and operational priorities.

Implement and maintain robust financial controls, driving continuous improvements in processes and procedures.

Identify and mitigate operational or financial risks, providing strategic advice to minimise potential impacts.

Cultivate strong working relationships with business partners and their teams, promoting a collaborative approach to financial management.

Travel to regional sites as required to fulfill job responsibilities.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience.

Proven track record in finance business partnering, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Microsoft NAV and Cognos is desirable.

Solid understanding of accounting systems and financial reporting processes.
