Job summary

A prominent educational institution in City Of London is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Director of Finance. You will identify and meet the finance needs of the College group, provide a professional accounting service, and deliver timely management information to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a recognised accounting qualification, at least 3 years of finance experience, and knowledge of budgeting and financial regulations. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on financial targets.

Qualifications

  • Completed or progressing towards a recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACCA / CIMA.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Finance role.
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting within an accounting function.

Finance Business Partner

HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a successful merged college group, based across 5 vibrant campuses. We offer high quality courses, apprenticeships and programmes for young people.

We are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to proactively identify, plan and meet the finance needs of the College group.

Supporting the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and the Director of Finance, you would provide a professional, customer focussed accounting service and deliver insightful, accurate and timely management information to ensure budget managers, the senior management team and other stakeholders have the information relevant to their needs and to ensure financial targets are met. You will also support the preparation of budgets and forecasts and monitoring of actual income, expenditure and capital spend against targets.

We are seeking to appoint someone who can demonstrate the following :

  • Completed or progressing towards a recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACCA / CIMA
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Finance role
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting within an accounting function
  • Detailed knowledge of finance and accounting regulations
  • Detailed knowledge of finance, particularly management accounting systems and processes
