Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a recognised, large multi-site business based in Birmingham who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their high performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic business during a period of consistent growth.

In this role, you will work with the Head of Commercial Finance to support high-value, high-profile clients, collaborating with operational teams to report on performance, increase margins, and handle budgeting and forecasting, including monthly management accounts.

You will:

1. Support, influence, and challenge non-financial stakeholders.
2. Act as the key financial advisor to managers.
3. Analyse and track key financial metrics such as cost-per-activity, inventory costs, and labour efficiency.
4. Provide financial modelling and analysis to support strategic initiatives like expansions, investments, or process improvements.
5. Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
6. Collaborate with supply chain, operations, procurement, and HR teams to align operational objectives.
7. Identify opportunities and risks.
8. Support the wider team with reporting, queries, and analysis.

About You:

1. Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
2. Experience in a finance business partnering role.
3. Experience in retail, supply chain, or manufacturing (preferred but not essential).
4. Confident working with stakeholders.
5. Proactive work approach.
6. Comfortable dealing with non-financial stakeholders.

This role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days per week in the office, with some travel involved.
