The role is a key part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, reporting to the FP&A Manager and is focussed on producing the financial business plan; updating quarterly forecasts and delivering insightful financial analysis to guide business decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
The position is intended to support the Finance function by having principal responsibility for managing planning models, producing management information and liaising with department managers to identify risks to operational costs of the business.
The FP&A team has a key role to play at Bryt Energy, always looking for innovative ways to support the business to achieve their strategic goals and navigate the UK energy transition to a net zero grid. YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Production of quarterly reforecasts and annual budget, with ownership for the complex revenue and statement projection models, with responsibility for continuous improvement as our business requirements evolve.
- Working autonomously with senior stakeholders to translate our company strategy into the finance business plan, supported with sensitivity and scenario modelling.
- Overseeing production of operational cost budgets, monitoring performance and educating the business on recognised cost control methodologies, making recommendations to adjust budgeting and procurement policies where needed.
- Production and communication of financial management information that is intended for stakeholders within Bryt Energy and our Group finance team.
- Working with the Commercial team to understand gross margin variances andproviding recommendations for KPIs to reduce risk exposure.
- Supporting other tasks managed by the team as and when required, including refreshing company performance reports.
- Analysis of profitability of new channels and products.
- Development and assessment of business cases for new products/projects.

Education and training:
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA professional finance qualification. Consideration will also be made for Part qualified candidates with appropriate experience.
- 2+ years’ experience of working in a similar industry.
