RPS has an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner in one of our divisional areas. This role is ideally suited to a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA finance professional with strong commercial drive and several years of progressive financial experience.

About The Role:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with the Finance team and senior management to maintain the financial health of the division. You will drive business performance by delivering financial targets such as growth, profit, cash flow, budgets, and resource utilization. You will also make recommendations for improvements and ensure compliance with RPS Group's financial and commercial policies.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Ensure the preparation of monthly accounts for accurate project reporting.
2. Produce and review divisional management accounts.
3. Analyze costs, fees, project margins, and division performance against targets.
4. Provide explanations for significant trends or variations.
5. Interpret financial information for managerial staff and recommend actions.
6. Perform monthly accrued revenue and debtor reviews based on a risk-focused rotation plan.
7. Assist in forecasting the division’s finances.
8. Support the Divisional FD in preparing annual target models.
9. Ensure division compliance with regulatory requirements (external audit, reporting, PAYE/PSA, VAT).
10. Help local offices resolve operational issues related to RPS Systems (TetraLinx/Oracle).
11. Lead training initiatives to enhance operational staff’s financial knowledge.

Skills:

• Experience as a Finance Manager (preferable)
• Good technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS

Education:

• Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
