Overview

Moreover, it contributes to ensuring that the broadcasting landscape remains as competitive, creative, and inclusive as it is today.

The Role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join us on a part time basis for an initial 6 month fixed term contract.

We would look for the individual to come into the office 1 day per week (this is normally on a Wednesday with the whole team)

Essential Skills & Experience

We require the successful candidates tohavehad prior experience working with Sage 200.

Responsibilities as follows:

1. Accounts payable and receivable
2. Familiarity with the month end process within Sage – uploading journals, reconciliations etc.
3. Preparing BACS runs and payments from Sage 200
4. Experience with preparing and uploading quarterly VAT submissions
5. Bank reconciliations
6. Maintenance of the current cashflow tracker
7. A self-starter as they will either be working from handover notes or will have to shadow the Finance Manager and be able to pick up on their own.
8. A good communicator – essential as they will be speaking to people within the business and undertaking credit control
