Job summary

Lloyd Motor Group, Newcastle, seeks an Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day transactional accounting and assist in accurate financial reporting. You will work closely with the managers and accountants to keep ledgers tidy and processes running smoothly.

The role offers 40 hours per week and a benefits package. Experience in motor trade and Kerridge knowledge desirable, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• General accounts experience is required.
• Credit control experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, plus IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Cash/daily banking.
• Bank statement allocations.
• Credit control.
• Ledger maintenance for Sales and Purchase ledgers.
• Setting up bank payments.
• Assist with vehicle stock counts.
• Other ad-hoc accounts tasks.
