Job summary

Read Motor Group is seeking an Accounts Assistant for our Hyundai dealership in Worksop. You will join a centralised accounts team and report to the Group Financial Controller, ensuring invoices and reports are accurate and timely.

The successful candidate will be confident with an accounts/administration background. Motor industry experience is beneficial but full training is provided, with responsibilities spanning purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end support.

Qualifications

• Confident candidate with an accounts/administration background preferred.
• Motor industry experience is beneficial but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Code, input, and process supplier invoices and credit notes.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Handle daily banking, post bank transactions, and chase overdue debts.
• Prepare and process scheduled BACS payments and manage aged creditors.
• Support month-end close with journal entries and data entry.
