You will be a recent graduate (2023/2024) with a 2:1 or above from a Russell Group university, and you will benefit from strong mentorship, study support, and a clear path to qualification within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate (2023/2024) from a Russell Group university with a 2:1 or above
• Strong academic record including excellent A-Levels
• Desire to become a professionally qualified accountant via a recognised qualification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; strong written and spoken communication

Responsibilities

• Purchase and sales ledger data entry on the firm's accounting system
• Preparing balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations via Excel
• Posting journal entries for monthly management accounts (prepayments and accruals)
• Weekly cash book and bank reconciliations
• Processing expense claims via the company's expenses portal
• Payment run processing using the accounting system and online banking platforms
• Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns
• Providing ad hoc support across the wider finance team

Autumnal Partners are working with a leading British mid-market private equity fund manager to find a Finance Assistant to join their finance team, reporting to the Group Financial Controller.

Our client invests in growing services and technology businesses and manages funds of over £2 billion on behalf of institutional investors. The Role

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of:
