Job summary

Benjamin Edwards in Lincoln is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the finance team with transactional duties under the direction of the Finance Manager. The role focuses on receivables and payables, bank postings, reconciliations, and month-end activities, ensuring data integrity across ledgers.

The position is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 1-day hybrid after probation. Salary is £30,000 per annum, with pension, holiday entitlement, and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with credit control and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Management of aged receivables and aged payables.
• Credit control.
• Daily bank postings and bank reconciliations.
• Supplier & Customer statement reconciliations.
• Processing staff and director expenses.
• Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting.
• Supporting with ad hoc duties as required.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity.
