Benjamin Edwards is recruiting an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Lincoln finance team. This permanent, full-time role offers exposure to management accounts, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow while working closely with the Financial Controller.

The successful candidate will be studying towards a professional accounting qualification, possess strong numerical and analytical skills, and be proficient in Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with finance experience.
• Confident using Excel and able to prioritise to deadlines.
• Studying towards a professional accounting qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure timely reporting.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and assist year-end close.
• Support P&L, cash flow reporting and budgeting.
• Liaise with external auditors and assist audits.
• Contribute to ERP improvements and finance projects.
