Pertemps Plymouth Commercial is recruiting a Finance Assistant to join a busy finance team in Exeter. This role suits someone with finance administration or transactional experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.

You will support income and expenditure processing, supplier invoices, purchase ledgers, reconciliations, and routine admin. The position offers an immediate start in a modern Exeter office and a temporary contract through December 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a finance or accounts environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices and manage purchase ledger activities.
• Support payment runs and maintain supplier records.
• Assist with account reconciliations and raise sales invoices.
• Allocate incoming receipts and resolve finance-related queries from stakeholders.
• Aid the wider finance team with day-to-day administration.
