Job summary

CMR Jobs Limited is recruiting a Finance Assistant for an established organisation in Invergordon on an initial 12-week temporary contract. This hands-on role supports the finance team with day-to-day transactional accounting, across purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in similar roles, strong attention to detail, proficiency in Excel and finance systems, and the ability to work independently in a busy finance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Administrator role.
• Knowledge of purchase and/or sales ledger and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices with code and approvals.
• Support purchase ledger and accounts payable tasks.
• Assist with sales ledger and accounts receivable activity.
• Carry out bank and supplier reconciliations.
• Support BACS payments and day-to-day banking.
• Maintain accurate financial records and investigate discrepancies.
• Provide general finance and admin support to the team.
