Job summary

Brook Street in Invergordon is recruiting a Finance Assistant to join the finance team on a temporary basis. The role supports purchase and sales ledgers, and assists the Management Accountant with reporting and financial systems accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have bookkeeping basics, ledger processing experience, strong attention to detail, and solid Excel skills to support monthly close and data reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Basic bookkeeping or a similar qualification.
• Proven experience processing purchase ledger invoices with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience generating and monitoring sales ledger invoices.
• Strong accountancy experience, including processing information with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of payment systems, including cheques, BACS, and Bankline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to reconcile financial records.
• Precise and quick keyboarding skills to support efficient data entry.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating across functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
