Job summary

Escape Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing organisation based in Fife for a temporary Finance Assistant role. You will support a busy finance team with diverse accounting duties on a 6-12 month contract.

Key duties include journals and balance sheet reconciliations, processing accounts payable and receivable, banking activities and cash allocation, intercompany back-charge invoices, and assisting with month-end and year-end close.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeper or Ledger role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accounting journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Managing banking activities, including payment processing and cash allocation
• Creating and processing intercompany back-charge invoices and resolving related queries
• Supporting month-end and year-end accounting activities

The Role

• Strong MS Excel experience is essential
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
