Job Title: Finance Assistant

Type: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within Stockport Homes’ Corporate Finance team. We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join us. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you will be part of a team where joint working and sharing of information are vital.

Your responsibilities will include processing a variety of financial transactions, such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, as well as involvement in Balance Sheet reconciliations and handling Petty Cash.

You will work with SAP, our financial system, along with other computer packages including the repairs and maintenance works management system.

The successful candidate will need to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while managing large volumes of data. Skills in prioritising tasks and organising a busy and varied workload are essential.
