An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance team at Broad Horizons Education Trust, which currently operates 18 academies in and around Norwich - 3 secondary schools, 2 specialist schools, and 13 schools for younger children.
This role provides the chance to gain exposure to a wide range of tasks and be part of a friendly and dynamic team. The successful candidate will have opportunities to gain skills to develop and take on higher-level responsibilities within the team over time. The role is based in the Trust’s centralised Head office, providing financial support to the team and Trust, visiting schools, and liaising with budget holders as required. Candidates will have the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team and will be fully trained in the use of the Trust’s financial systems. Prior experience of working within a relevant finance role is strongly desired.
The hours for this post are 37 hours per week, with the opportunity for flexi working weeks around school holidays. The Trust also provides free car parking, Cycle to Work and Tech Schemes, dress-down Fridays, and a School Wellbeing Service for you and your immediate family, with new employee benefits being regularly added. The Trust would consider supporting applicants who would like to undertake or continue AAT studies.
