Job summary

Millennium Hotels and Resorts in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant with a hospitality background to support daily accounting processes in a fast-paced finance team. You will handle revenue reconciliation, purchasing authorisation, creditors ledger, banking, debtors, payroll reconciliation and journal posting.

Reporting to the onsite Assistant FC and off-site Cluster Financial Controller, you will contribute to accurate reporting and timely month-end procedures while upholding

• Previous accounting experience in a hospitality environment.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy hotel finance department.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting processes incl. revenue reconciliation, banking, debtors and payroll reconciliation.
• Process purchases authorisation and creditors ledger.
• Prepare and post daily and monthly journals.

As a Finance Assistant reporting to the onsite Assistant FC and off-site Cluster Financial Controller

• Supporting all aspects of daily accounting processes within the business i.e. Revenue reconciliation, purchasing authorisation & creditors ledger, banking, debtors, payroll reconciliation & processing, daily & monthly journal processing
• Previous accounting experience in a hospitality environment is preferable
