Kirklees Council in Huddersfield is offering a Finance Clerk Apprentice role as part of the Earn Learn and Build a Career program. You will work with finance colleagues, gaining hands-on experience and supporting administrative, technical and financial accounting tasks across the Homes and Neighbourhoods area.

The apprenticeship lasts three years and leads to AAT qualification, with study delivered at college or by distance learning.

Qualifications

• Eligible to apply if aged 16 or over.
• Willing to complete a 3-year training programme.
• Interest in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, technical and financial accounting support across the organisation.
• Work on the Homes and Neighbourhoods area.
• Complete an apprenticeship starting at NVQ level 2 and gain AAT qualification.
