LHH is partnered with a respected national organisation as they seek an interim Finance and Resource Manager to join its senior leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a central role in managing the organisation’s financial strategy, operational delivery, and governance.
As a key member of the Executive Team, you will take the lead on all aspects of financial management, including preparing management accounts, annual budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and charity regulations, overseeing payroll, maintaining financial controls, managing audits, and ensuring that financial systems and reporting are accurate, timely, and aligned with strategic goals.
Your responsibilities will also include operational oversight such as office management, procurement, IT systems, and HR system administration. You will collaborate across departments to ensure efficient processes and a well-managed workplace environment. Additionally, you will coordinate the Finance and Audit Committee, managing meeting schedules, papers, minutes, and follow-up actions to support effective governance.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, with proven experience in financial leadership, preferably within a regulated or not-for-profit setting. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Experience in office management and a solid understanding of governance frameworks are also required.
