Job summary

The AA is seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Operational Finance team in Basingstoke. You will turn complex data into clear insights, supporting the Roadside Outdoor Operations cost base and driving informed decisions.

You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and model financial implications for contracts and business cases. A strong accounting background and excellent stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in management accounting and month-end processes.
• Experience developing Power BI dashboards for finance and non-finance audiences.
• Strong Excel skills with large datasets and accuracy.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management across finance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse monthly financial and operational performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Financial Reporting to support month-end reporting and reconciliations.
• Develop reporting, analysis and Power BI dashboards to improve visibility of spend and cost drivers.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with operational stakeholders and improve forecast accuracy.
• Provide financial modelling for contract reviews, business cases and decisions.
• Track benefits from cost-saving initiatives and highlight risks to delivery.
• Simplify and automate reporting using Excel, Power BI and AI where possible.
