Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Finance Analyst Manufacturing Operations to join the Civil Aerospace Manufacturing Operations team, based in Bristol (or Derby with frequent site visits). The role focuses on delivering robust financial support to the Site FBP and the Bristol team, driving P&L and balance sheet performance in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Finance professional with accounting background.
• Experience communicating to non-finance colleagues.
• Strong Excel skills with ability to build relationships.
• Experience in manufacturing/production finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, insight and challenge to Site FBP and Bristol team to drive strong financial performance on P&L and balance sheet.
• Complete Ap’ly reporting timely, including SAP, journals, P&L and balance sheet.
• Support financial forecasting, planning models and review packs, understand key movements.
• Help manufacturing and functional teams improve financial acumen and promote cost-conscious culture.
• Support cost engagement across sites with regular reviews, identifying risks, levers and opportunities.
• Review actuals against forecasts and provide insightful commentary with corrective actions.
• Ensure management information and governance are robust and reliable.
• Provide financial and business advice for capital schemes and business cases, ensuring governance.
• Support PMO and business cases; provide leadership to Site FBP when required.
• Collaborate with Man Ops HQ and EFSC to deliver finance support to sites.
