Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking a Finance Analyst - Projects to support financial reporting, forecasting and control for long-term customer contracts. You will deliver accurate analysis, maintain project reports, and support decision-making with insights into performance and risks.

The role requires collaboration with the finance business partner and project teams to ensure robust financial governance. You will contribute to monthly close, validate data, and assist with invoicing and cost analysis

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel with ability to analyse data.
• Experience with project reporting and forecasting.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition for long-term contracts is a plus.
• Strong financial modelling and data validation skills.
• Familiarity with budgeting, EACs and month-end closures.

Responsibilities

• Support project forecasts, budgets and EACs with clear assumptions.
• Analyse costs, cash flow and variances for decision-making.
• Assist monthly project reporting, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Support contract and project finance activities including invoicing and cost analysis.
• Provide insight on profitability and key operational metrics.
• Maintain robust financial controls and governance in line with policies.
