Job summary

Mitchell Adam is seeking a Finance Analyst in Birmingham City Centre to support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis within a growing specialist business. You will help assess performance, investigate variances and provide insights to drive informed decisions.

The role offers hybrid working with exposure to sales, revenue and production metrics and the chance to develop commercial finance and business partnering skills within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance role involving management information, analysis, budgeting or forecasting.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with large amounts of financial and operational data.
• Good understanding of financial performance, including the ability to investigate variances and identify underlying trends.
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to explain financial information to colleagues outside of finance.
• AAT qualified or actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent experience with a clear desire to progress.

Responsibilities

• Involve in budgeting and forecasting processes and regular financial analyses.
• Analyse revenue, sales and production data to explain performance movements.
• Provide insights to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and wider commercial teams to develop understanding of drivers behind numbers.
