Job summary

Mitchell Adam Ltd in Birmingham City Centre is partnering with a specialist environmental business to recruit an FP&A Analyst. You will work with finance and commercial teams on budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis to understand drivers of the business.

The role offers broad exposure, project-based analysis, and structured training with study support for ACCA/CIMA, plus a hybrid setup (three days from home) and private healthcare.

Qualifications

• FP&A or related finance role with budgeting/forecasting experience.
• Strong Excel skills to manipulate and interpret data.
• Interest in turning analysis into clear business commentary.
• Confident communicator with non-finance stakeholders.
• Actively studying ACCA or CIMA.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across revenue, sales and production.
• Turn complex financial data into clear insights and actionable commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Prepare reporting and commentary to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to drive business partnering.
• Participate in project-based analysis to identify trends and improve performance.
