Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a specialist environmental business based in Birmingham City Centre, who are looking to appoint an FP&A Analyst to strengthen their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working with data but, more importantly, wants to understand what is driving the business and use financial information to influence how it performs.
You’ll work closely with both finance and commercial teams, gaining broad exposure to budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across areas including revenue, sales and production. A big part of the role will be taking complex information and turning it into clear, useful insight, producing reporting and commentary that can be understood and acted upon by senior non-finance stakeholders. You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in project-based analysis, helping the business identify trends, challenge performance and make better-informed decisions.
This is a role with plenty of scope to develop. You’ll be supported by an experienced finance team while being given the opportunity to build your confidence in business partnering, financial modelling and presenting your findings. For a part-qualified accountant looking to move further into FP&A and develop a genuinely commercial skillset, this offers a strong combination of responsibility, support and exposure within a business that is continuing to grow.
This is a strong opportunity for a part-qualified, or finalist accountant who wants to move beyond traditional management reporting and build a career in FP&A. If you enjoy working with data, questioning performance and turning numbers into something the wider business can actually use, this role offers the exposure and support to take that next step.
