Job summary

THG Ingenuity is seeking a finance professional to join the Fulfilment Finance team in Manchester. You will focus on fixed costs accounting across warehouse operations and the Automation P&L, contributing to robust financial controls and insightful reporting.

The role involves balance sheet accuracy, variance analysis, and collaboration with the FD and Solutions teams on new deals. It offers opportunities to develop skills in data-driven process improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• Working towards a finance qualification or already qualified.
• Ability to handle large data sets.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables.
• Experience with task automation and process improvement.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial data to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close, including variance analysis and commentary on cost movements against forecast and budget.
• Providing regular fixed costs reporting to support business decision-making.
• Weekly forecasting with variance analysis and commentary.
• Posting cost, revenue and accrual journals.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Providing insights into P&L performance.
• Communicating with internal stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation.
