Job summary

THG Ingenuity is seeking a Finance professional to join the Logistics Finance team within THG Fulfil. You will maintain strong financial controls, ensure accurate balance sheets, and deliver commercial reporting to maximise working capital and minimise service disruption.

This role focuses on automation projects and data work, offering career development for someone keen to understand processes from a technical perspective while collaborating with couriers and clients.

Qualifications

• Finance qualification or higher.
• Ability to handle large data sets.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables.
• Experience with task automation and process improvement.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Experience with Sage is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close, including variance analysis and commentary on cost and revenue movements against forecast and budget.
• Validation of invoices against courier rate cards.
• Liaising with couriers and logistics partners to query variances.
• Weekly forecasting with variance analysis and commentary.
• Providing insights on postage data to senior finance and postage teams.
• Posting cost, revenue and accrual journals.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Communicating with clients to resolve billing queries.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation.
