Job summary

Investigo is partnering with a large, established organisation to appoint a Finance Manager on a Manchester-based 18-month FTC. You will lead a 4–6 person team, drive balance sheet reconciliations and robust financial controls, and push transformation initiatives across processes and systems.

The role calls for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a track record in governance, reconciliation experience and business partnering across Finance and Operations.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA accountant.
• Strong recon experience and governance.
• Experience with balance sheet close and controls.
• Proven track record delivering process improvements and automation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4–6 staff.
• Ensure timely balance sheet reconciliations and variances resolution.
• Maintain robust financial controls and governance.
• Drive standardisation, automation and continuous improvement in finance processes.
• Support adoption of finance systems and reconciliation tools.
• Partner with Finance and Operations stakeholders to implement improvements.
• Act as liaison for internal/external audit activities and documentation.
• Lead through change and transformation projects.
• Monitor deliverables and service levels.
