Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe in Hyde is seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial reporting, analysis and decision-making, helping to drive cost control, profitability and operational performance.

You will assist with weekly P&L reporting, month-end close, journals, accruals, reconciliations, budgeting and KPI reporting, using Excel, SAP and Power BI to deliver accurate insights. This role offers exposure to budgeting, forecasting and operational finance across manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Graduate, AAT qualified, or studying towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of management accounting principles.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP, Power BI or similar systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of weekly P&L reporting and month-end accounts
• Assist with journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyse performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year
• Prepare KPI reporting and variance analysis across labour, materials, overheads and production performance
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
• Assist with stock reporting, stock counts and inventory variance analysis
• Maintain finance models, trackers and reporting tools
