Job summary

Sky UK Limited in Livingston is seeking a qualified accountant to own end‑to‑end group accounting for complex business areas. You will drive month-end close, balance sheet integrity and statutory reporting while leading an offshore RTR team and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

You will review journals, reconciliations and intercompany settlements, ensuring SOX/IFRS compliance and robust controls. A hybrid role with strong Excel and SAP experience awaits an experienced professional.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with professional certification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
Strong record-to-report experience in a large multi-entity organisation including review responsibilities.
Sound knowledge of IFRS and financial controls.
Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

Own month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for entities or process area and sign off results.
Review journals, accruals, provisions and complex judgements ensuring SOX/IFRS compliance.
Explain P&L and balance sheet movements to finance stakeholders.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and drive resolution of aged items.
Oversee intercompany matching and disputes for your entities.
Act as main contact for external auditors and ensure key controls operate effectively.
Lead and coach Senior Assistant Analysts and offshore RTR team.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the close using SAP, Power Automate and AI.
