Zusammenfassung

Sky UK Limited is seeking a diligent accountant to lead month-end close, reconciliations and balance sheet analysis for designated entities. You’ll ensure complete, accurate ledgers with strong controls and provide clear commentary on variances.

As the main contact for your process area, you’ll link offshore RTR delivery with UK stakeholders, support audits, and drive improvements. Hybrid working with two days in the office per week in Livingston.

Qualifikationen

• Must-have: Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or qualified by experience.
• Solid month-end close, journals and balance sheet reconciliation experience.
• Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and financial controls.
• Excellent Excel skills; experience with an ERP system (SAP preferred).
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Clear communication with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Lead month-end close activities including journals, accruals and reclassifications.
• Review and ensure completeness and accuracy of ledger results for assigned entities; explain variances.
• Prepare balance sheet and P&L analysis with commentary on key variances.
