Sky is seeking an Assistant Finance Analyst in Livingston to deliver high-quality accounting and reporting services within the Account to Report team. You will own defined accounting areas, work with Finance Analysts to produce accurate period-end reporting, and ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled and supported.

The role offers exposure to broad financial accounting experience, opportunities to influence finance transformation, and collaboration across Finance and the wider business.

Formación

• Experience supporting month-end close in a General Ledger environment.
• Understanding of double-entry accounting and P&L / Balance Sheet.
• Ability to own an end-to-end accounting area with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience desirable; studying ACCA/CIMA/ICAS.

Responsabilidades

• Perform period-end close activities with timely financial reporting.
• Take ownership of defined P&L and Balance Sheet areas and understand transactions.
• Prepare and review journal entries with proper support and deadlines.
• Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolve items.
• Provide variance commentary on financial performance.
• Engage with stakeholders across Finance and the business.
• Support internal and external audit activity with required evidence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of processes.
• Participate in finance transformation initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
• Provide support to outsourced partners.
