Reporting Analyst

The role reports to the Head of BI and will work closely with them and other team members to produce high-quality reporting and data extracts, using Google Big Query, Looker Studio, Looker, and the Google Suite of software.

Responsibilities

1. Use SQL combined with visualization tools to deliver reports, dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and analytics to the wider business.
2. Collaborate with the Head of BI to understand reporting needs across Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and Sales teams.
3. Design high-quality outputs deployable across multiple departments.
4. Influence stakeholders to improve data processes, integrity, and governance.
5. Build systems to transform raw data into actionable insights.
6. Assess data quality and usability for visualizations.
7. Enhance existing reporting and analysis capabilities.
8. Ensure data integrity and diagnose/report issues.
9. Monitor and maintain ETL processes for consistent reporting.

Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, with an expectation to be in the Magna Park office 3-4 times a month.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with SQL, comfortable with complex queries; experience with Google Big Query is a plus.
• Over 1 year of experience building reports and dashboards with visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, or Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly.
