Senior Consultant - Accounting Operations / Transactional / Part Qualified - 07939 341 046

We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join a progressive Financial Performance team, ideally from a retail or FMCG background, to support the business areas during an exciting period of change and growth.

This varied role involves supporting, challenging, reviewing, and interpreting business performance. You’ll help forecast spend, provide analysis, and deliver insights to support the Senior Finance team and business units.

You’ll identify and analyze key revenue and cost drivers, assist in reporting progress against strategic goals, and support decision-making processes. Additionally, you'll produce post-investment reviews and develop reports highlighting key learnings, actions, and emerging trends.

This is a hybrid role based in Lichfield, combining office work with remote working.

How will I know if I am right for this role?

• As a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant, you’ll be proactive, able to work independently, and resolve issues effectively.
• You’ll have experience with budgeting and forecasting, with a desire to grow your finance career.
• You’ll possess strong commercial and financial acumen, understanding sales and profitability drivers.
• You must be capable of challenging existing practices and processes.
• Your attention to detail will be sharp, always seeking improvements.
• You should be organized, able to meet deadlines, and proficient in Excel, especially in handling large datasets and providing high-quality insights.
• You’ll have confident communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to collaborate effectively across teams.
