Reporting Analyst
The role reports to the Head of BI and collaborates with them and other team members to produce high-quality reporting and data extracts using Google Big Query, Looker Studio, Looker, and the Google Suite of software.
The position is primarily remote, with an expectation to be in the Magna Park office 3-4 times a month.
Principal Accountabilities
- Utilise SQL and visualization tools to deliver reports, dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and analytics for the business.
- Collaborate with the Head of BI to understand reporting needs across Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and Sales teams.
- Design high-quality outputs suitable for deployment across multiple departments.
- Influence stakeholders to adopt processes that improve data integrity and promote self-service analytics and data governance.
- Develop systems and processes to convert raw data into actionable insights.
- Assess data quality and usability for visualizations.
- Enhance existing reporting and analysis capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity in reports and analytical products, working with relevant departments to resolve issues.
- Monitor ETL processes to maintain reporting continuity across departments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of SQL experience, including complex scripting; experience with Google Big Query is advantageous.
- Over 1 year of experience creating reports and dashboards.
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, Power BI, etc.
- Strong report and dashboard design skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, logical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Clear and concise communication skills, capable of explaining complex information effectively.
