Job description

Marks Sattin is delighted to be working with a high-profile UK organisation to recruit a Finance Analyst for their Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to join a dynamic Group Finance team and gain exposure to FP&A, Financial Reporting, and Treasury.

About the Role

As Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the preparation of management information, forecasting processes, and financial analysis. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the Group, providing insight and supporting decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Consolidating and analysing financial data on a monthly and ad‑hoc basis.
  • Monitoring financial performance and identifying trends across P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow.
  • Assisting with financial planning, forecasting, and annual budget processes.
  • Supporting Group IT cost reporting and analysis of cost base.
  • Providing analysis for Treasury, including funding plans, cost calculations, and cashflow monitoring.
  • Conducting ad‑hoc analysis for senior management.
About You
  • Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or experience in a similar finance role.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong PC literacy.
  • Strong analytical mindset with an affinity for numbers and data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with multicultural and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proactive, self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills.
