Job summary

Jobwise Ltd in Chorley is seeking a Finance Administrator to join a well established finance team. You will manage day-to-day administration of loans, update the loan management system and produce statements for clients.

The role requires strong numerical ability, excellent Excel skills and a high level of accuracy. You will benefit from a generous holiday allowance, private healthcare and a discretionary bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance-based role such as general accounts or purchase ledger.
• Experience with commercial loans or loan administration in banking is desirable.
• Keen to learn something new with strong Excel skills and financial administration.
• Confident with Excel and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent numeracy skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day administration of commercial and corporate property loans.
• Adding and updating loans in the loan management system.
• Calculating loan interest and preparing statements for clients and lenders.
• Preparing and processing payments, including online and manual payments.
• Monitoring company bank accounts and keeping payment and reconciliation records up to date.
• General loan operations duties including preparation of overseas billing notices / remittance reports and rate setting.
• Calculating fees, requisition of fee invoices and issuing invoices to borrowers.
• Liaising with Loan Managers, lenders, clients and third parties regarding queries and loan administration.
• Setting and maintaining interest rates and keeping loan records accurate.
• Preparing billing notices, remittance reports and client reports.
• Keeping track of payment dates, fees and loan deadlines.
• Maintaining portfolio databases, spreadsheets and distribution lists.
