Jobwise in Chorley is seeking a Loan Analyst to join the finance team. You will manage day‑to‑day administration of commercial property loans, calculate interest and prepare statements for borrowers and lenders using Excel for complex calculations.

The role offers a salary of £27,000 to £29,000 depending on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, a discretionary bonus after probation, and free parking.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar financial role such as general accounts or loan-related work.
Excellent Excel skills and ability to perform complex loan calculations.
Extremely high level of accuracy and strong analytical mindset.
Own transport preferred due to office location.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day administration of commercial and corporate property loans.
Add new loans to the loan management system and update records regularly.
Calculate loan interest and prepare statements for clients and lenders using Excel.
Prepare and process payments, including online and manual payments.
Monitor bank accounts and maintain payment/reconciliation records.
Assist with audits and provide required information.
