Job Description:

Overview of role

Villiers High School is seeking a professional, self-motivated, and organized individual to support the Finance Manager in financial administration, focusing on finance and lettings management.

The candidate should communicate effectively, have a good knowledge of finance and accounting, and be able to start promptly.

Salary: Grade 4-5 NJC, £27,996-£31,581 per annum (including London Weighting and Ealing supplement)

Contract/Hours: 35 hours/week, 52 weeks, with flexibility considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and operation of the finance department.
  • Managing school accounts, budgets, cash handling, and reconciliation.
  • Processing orders, invoices, payments, and maintaining records.
  • Assisting with payroll, school trips, and administrative duties.
  • Handling correspondence, banking, and financial reporting.
  • Supporting lettings and event management.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and safety procedures.

Special conditions: Disclosure of convictions is required due to access to children and financial responsibilities.

Person Specification:

  • GCSE level education in English & Maths or above.
