Job summary

Gullane Golf Club is seeking a Finance & Administration Manager to lead the financial and administrative functions, report to the Club Secretary, and support the Senior Management Team. The role is central to ensuring the Club operates efficiently, aligns with strategic goals, and delivers excellent service to Members.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in finance (AAT, CIMA, ACCA).
• Experience in financial or commercial management, ideally in a membership-based venue or leisure organisation.
• Strong budgeting and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple priorities; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow, expenditure controls and financial forecasting.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations carried out by finance administrative staff.
• Oversee monthly payroll and benefits administration.
• Produce monthly management accounts and variance reports for the Committee and Club Secretary.
• Lead on annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
• Manage annual audit process and liaise with external accountants as required.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Assist with implementation of Club policies and procedures across departments.
