Job summary

Stericycle is seeking a Management Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager in maintaining ledger accuracy and delivering timely financial results.

You'll liaise across departments to meet deadlines, improve month-end processes, and contribute to internal controls and SOX compliance while preparing reporting and KPI data.

The role requires attention to detail, good IT and Excel skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years+ accounting experience.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare manual journal entries in line with monthly timetables.
• Maintain supporting schedules for journal postings and audit trail.
• Assist month-end expense account analysis.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Process general ledger payments and receipts.
• Supplier statement reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Own accruals and prepayments schedules; assist with reporting and KPI data.
