Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Stock Controller for a well-established food manufacturing company based in Yeovil. The role is hands-on and combines stock control, warehouse administration, goods in/out and order preparation.

You will manage inbound/outbound deliveries, stock counts, FIFO rotation, and maintain stock records with spreadsheets. Forklift experience and strong IT skills will help update systems and report to the Supply Chain team.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control, inventory, goods in/out or warehouse operations.
• Highly organised with attention to paperwork and spreadsheets.
• Good communication and IT skills, able to manage stock movements and records.

Responsibilities

• Managing inbound and outbound deliveries, including loading and unloading.
• Booking deliveries onto the system and completing documentation.
• Accurately picking, labeling and wrapping pallets for dispatch.
• Maintaining FIFO stock rotation.
• Carrying out weekly and monthly stock counts.
• Updating warehouse spreadsheets and stock records.
