Job summary

Interaction - York is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to perform structured vehicle inspections and report findings via a PDA template. You will also complete used vehicle condition reports and work with the team to maintain daily site inspections while engaging customer contacts to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Travel to BCA sites in the region is regular, with occasional longer travel as needed. The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance or equivalent, solid mechanical

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous).
• Strong written communication and the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template.
• Complete used vehicle condition reports.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections.
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region will be regular, however, travel to further distances will be expected if and when needed.
