Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an UPS Service Engineer to operate across London, Slough and South East UK. The role involves commissioning, maintenance, repair and remote support for Schneider Electric UPS systems, with travel and on-site client visits. A valid UK driving licence is mandatory.

You will work with service coordination, technical support, project managers and account teams to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction, following safety and cybersecurity guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience within UPS industry or similar.
• Professional technical bachelor or equivalent by experience
• Knowledge of electricity/electronics
• Safety mindset
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and being computer literate
• Good understanding of Schneider Electric

Responsibilities

• Perform Start-up / Commissioning, Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance on Schneider Electric UPS equipment.
• Lead and participate in proactive team efforts to achieve goals.
• Provide consulting services at customer sites and over the phone.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, service partners and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Document site visits and required information for each assignment.
• Manage installation projects and unit replacements as needed.
• Educate customers on basic operation of equipment and issues to anticipate.
• Adhere to safety policies and cybersecurity requirements.
• Provide 7x24 field service availability when assigned.
