Job summary

SOCOTEC Building Control Limited is seeking a Field Technician to support highway pavement and utility investigations within our Infrastructure division. You will perform pavement and utility coring, conduct tests, and contribute to safe, high-quality site operations.

The role requires a proactive, reliable candidate with at least 1 year in the industry, a full UK driving licence, and flexibility for night and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year industry experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to working hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pavement investigations including FWD, coring, trial pits and DCPs.
• Liaising with clients and subcontractors on site.

Field Technician

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Field Technician to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Field Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to undertake pavement and utility coring works while maintaining high health & safety and quality standards. Previous site-based experience is beneficial to thrive in this position.
