Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Structures Technician to join the Structures and Pavements division. You will undertake structural investigations on buildings, bridges, and car parks, and perform pavement investigations while upholding health, safety and quality standards.

As SOCOTEC grows, you’ll work with clients and subcontractors, calibrate equipment, and maintain our company profile while supporting a diverse range of projects nationwide in a flexible, office-based, remote, or hybrid

In this role, you’ll need the confidence to undertake structural investigations, pavement and utility coring works while maintaining high health & safety and quality standards. Previous site-based experience is beneficial to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Carry out pavement investigations including FWD, coring, trial pits and DCP’s
• Liaison with clients
• Effective communication with internal and external subcontractors
• Equipment calibration and maintenance
• Maintain company profile at all times
