Job summary
Wallace Hind Selection LTD seeks a technically minded sales professional to fill a Technical Sales Representative / Sales Engineer role. You will blend engineering knowledge with commercial responsibility, engaging with OEMs, distributors and end users to provide engineered solutions across UK, Ireland and Nordic markets.
The role offers field-based duties with travel and overnight stays, based from Coventry or Wakefield.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical engineering background and technical aptitude.
- Proven ability to combine engineering knowledge with commercial aims.
- Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland and Nordic regions and stay away as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an existing portfolio of customer accounts.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the territory.
- Build relationships with OEMs, distributors and end users.
- Visit customers regularly, spending significant time in the field.
- Provide technical advice and application support with internal specialists.
- Coordinate with service teams to deliver optimal solutions.
- Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and deliver against targets.
