Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer - Building Automation to work with field service teams and customers across the South region. You will translate customer needs into technically compliant quotations, leveraging knowledge of Building Management Systems, Fire and Security solutions, and Honeywell offerings.

The role is field-based with travel to customer sites or Honeywell offices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire or Security systems service maintenance and installation/commissioning.
• Technical understanding of Fire and Security Systems or Building Management Systems (prefer both).
• Experience generating technical quotes/proposals to customers and securing business.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support, verify information, create estimates and follow up to uncover opportunities.
• Apply technical knowledge of building technologies during all project stages to ensure compliant offerings.
• Support field service professionals with proposal generation for complex opportunities and assist engineering teams in the field.
• Send proposals to customers and follow up for feedback and approvals, maintain contact through project cycle including finances.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to drive revenue, margin targets and satisfaction.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
• Operate with commercial awareness in a financially motivated environment.
