Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment has an opening for a Structural Testing Technician (HGV licence needed) with homebased work and travel across the UK. You will visit sites weekly, with overnights away from home, from Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Newark, and surrounding areas.

The role offers 40-hour weeks, overtime on weekends, and a competitive package. The ideal candidate holds an HGV Class 2 licence, is mechanically minded, and happy to stay away weekly.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 Licence is required.
• Based within a commutable distance to Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Newark, Hucknall, Long Eaton, Beeston, West Bridgford, Ilkeston.
• Experience with site-based testing and on-site setup is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV to UK sites and set up structural pile load tests using a lorry mounted crane.
• Carry out static load testing with automated pile testing equipment and record technical data.
• Site-based role Monday to Friday with occasional weekend overtime; overnight stays will be required.
